Sporting Clays

Sporting clays, often called golf with a shotgun, is the fastest growing shooting sport in the world. Clay "birds" are thrown from various traps along a course designed to simulate the flight patterns of waterfowl and upland game birds as well as the running rabbit. Each field presents a shot or combination of shots designed to test the shooter's skill while maintaining a safe environment for all shooters and spectators.

Our sporting clays courses are professionally designed and include 18 different fields with over 50 shooting stations, covering areas of deep woods, brushy hollows and open fields. Shooters can choose the 5 Stand, 25 target short course or the 50 or 100 target walk through course, or only practice those stations that they choose to. Course variations are designed to accommodate the beginning or intermediate shooter as well as tournament level shooters. The courses utilize a variety of towers ranging from ten to 40 feet in height.

The 5 stand sporting clays (25 targets per round) is a great warm up for the regular clays courses or to loosen up before your bird hunt.

Tough but fair targets that are changed regularly will challenge tournament level shooters. Hunters seeking to improve their wingshooting skills will appreciate the variety of conditions and shot presentations. Beginners will benefit from a helpful and patient certified instructor.

We will custom design Sporting Clay shooting and/or Hunting packages to your specifications. Our 1400 acres of grounds and facilities allows us to accommodate up to 500+ Clay shooters or 120 hunters per day.

Hours: 9am - 5pm Saturday and Sunday, Weekdays by appointment.
